    Note

    This site features a canoe trip that I took this summer on the Mackenzie River in NW Canada. I managed to cover a scant 600 miles in the month that I was on the river. I paddled solo except for my fearless companion Kvichak (Quee-Jack). I hope you enjoy the pictures. Moreover, I hope you take such a trip for yourself. There is nothing like the solace of many days on a big river to truly see one's self.
